Blockchain Crypto Property Data Analysis Lab

Public ledger technology such as blockchains gained attention in the last years both in the media and in the economy. This new trend is accompanied by research and development of methods to extract relevant information from such public ledgers. The spectrum of corresponding information needs is fairly wide. It ranges from forensic and security to economic problems. These problems are usually ill-posed problems in the sense of Jacques Hadamard. Because of its economic importance, we believe that this new field deserves a proper venue where industry and science come to together to advance the field. The core of such an evaluation lab would be a framework facilitating the evaluation of different methods according to scientific criteria. Let's hope that sooner or later such an evaluation lab will be founded.
